LIQUID HAIR STUDIOS
Liquid Hair Studios is a Boston-based hair salon with a fun and funky edge. The salon itself has patterned walls, an elvis shrine and colorful decor. I felt that their current identity didn't properly reflect their uniqueness as a salon so I redesigned their logo, created a stationary suite and an ad campaign. I wanted the logo to capture the feeling of the salon's name with fludity, movement, and change. The bright colors add a fun flair to the design suite, letting you choose whatever color suits your personality - much like choosing a new shade to dye your hair. The color scheme also helps save on printing costs by only having to print black on the colored paper. The ad campaign plays on the idea of having the opposite of a "bad hair day" if you visit the salon. It's a cheerful and bright campaign that focuses on the hair and the feeling you get after recieving a great haircut.
